Abbie Grey is the Founder of Brew & Build, a travelling community event series designed to nurture entrepreneurship, champion local businesses and strengthen community connections. Delivered as a month-long pop-up programme, Brew & Build partners with local venues to create welcoming spaces where entrepreneurs, aspiring founders and residents can connect, collaborate and turn ideas into action.
The concept was successfully piloted in June 2026 at venue partner The Blonde Hedgehog, and included brand partnerships with Adrift Alderney, Anchors Alderney, Braye Studio, and Gym+Coffee. Brew & Build has since been featured by Channel Eye News and in the Bailiwick Express.
Following positive feedback, Grey is now exploring opportunities to bring Brew & Build beyond Alderney, expanding the model to other island and rural communities seeking to foster innovation, connection, and local economic growth.
